C. 20554 DA 00- 1168 Released: May 26, 2000 NORTH AMERICAN BILLING AND COLLECTION, INC., (NBANC) SUBMITS REVISIONS TO THE NORTH AMERICAN NUMBERING PLAN ADMINISTRATION’S CONTRIBUTION FACTOR AND FUND SIZE FOR MARCH 2000 THROUGH JUNE 2001 CC Docket 92- 237 NSD File No. L- 00- 72 Comments: June 6, 2000 Reply Comments: June 13, 2000 On May 5, 2000, North American Billing and Collection, Inc., (NBANC), submitted a revised contribution factor and fund size estimate for funding the North American Numbering Plan Administrator for the period March 2000 through June 2001. 1 On December 30, 1999, the Network Services Division authorized the 2000 funding year contribution factor of 0.0000577 to be applied to the end- user revenue of each telecommunications carrier in the United States. 2 The current submission updates the contribution factor and fund size to reflect recent decisions by the Commission in the Numbering Resource Optimization (NRO) Order regarding the implementation of thousands- block number pooling, audits, and mandatory reporting of utilization and forecast data. 3 In light of those decisions, NBANC is seeking approval of a revised contribution factor of 0.000043. Interested parties may file comments concerning this matter on or before June 6, 2000, and reply comments on or before June 13, 2000.
