 Pursuant  to  Section  76.7  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  76.7,  Cox  Communications,  Inc. 
 (“  Cox”)  filed  a  petition  for  special  relief  requesting  a  waiver  of  47  C.  F.  R.  §  76.1204.  Cox  seeks  a  waiver 
 from  the  requirement  to  offer  point  of  deployment  modules  (“  PODs”)  for  some  of  its  cable  systems. 


 Pursuant  to  Section  1.1208,  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  1.1208,  this  proceeding  is 
 designated  as  restricted  for  purposes  of  the  Commission’s  ex  parte  rules. 


 Comments  and  oppositions  to  Cox’s  petition  must  be  filed  by  July  12,  2000.  Replies  are  due  July 
 24,  2000.  All  filings  should  reference  the  case  identifier  assigned  to  this  proceeding,  CSR  5561-  Z.
