On October 20, 1997, the above- referenced Complainant filed a complaint against the above- referenced Respondent pursuant to Section 224 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 1 and Subpart J of the Commission's Rules. 2 On July 18, 2000, Complainant and Respondent submitted a Joint Request to Dismiss the referenced complaint (" Request") because the parties reached a settlement of the issues. In the Request, Complainant and Respondent asked the Commission to dismiss the complaint and all counterclaims with prejudice, subject to the terms of the settlement agreement reached by the parties. On the basis of the statement contained in the Request, we conclude that there are no longer issues in controversy and the proceeding should be terminated. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to Sections 0.321 and 1.1415 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C. F.
