On November 13, 2000 1 The Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies 2 now doing business as Verizon Communications (“ Verizon”) filed Transmittal No. 1349 to revise Tariff F. C. C. No. 11 in order to, among other things, introduce a new virtual office channel termination in the States of Connecticut and New York. 2. That portion of Transmittal No. 1349 which pertains to Virtual Collocation raises the same issues regarding rate levels, rate structures, and terms and conditions of collocation services as those that are subject to the investigation of Bell Atlantic’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 11, Access Service, expanded interconnection service offering. 3 Therefore, that portion of Transmittal No. 1349 which pertains to Virtual Collocation is suspended for one day and will be subject to the investigation initiated in the Investigation of NYNEX Telephone Companies’ New Virtual Expanded Interconnection Offerings. 4 1 On November 14, 2000 Verizon also submitted an Amended Transmittal No. 1349 in order to include Work Paper No. 12 which was inadvertently omitted when Transmittal No. 1349 was filed on November 13, 2000. 2 The Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies participating in this filing includes Verizon New England Inc. and Verizon New York Inc. 3 Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies Tariff F. C. C. No. 11 was previously NYNEX Telephone Companies (“ NYNEX”) Tariff F. C. C. No. 1. This tariff was reissued as Bell Atlantic Tariff F. C. C. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to Section 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. § 204( a), and the authority delegated pursuant to Sections 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s Rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.91, 0.291, the revisions to Bell Atlantic’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 11 pertaining to Virtual Collocation , filed under Transmittal No. 1349, ARE SUSPENDED for one day from the effective date and an investigation of the referenced transmittal is instituted and incorporated within CC Docket No. 98- 240. 4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that VERIZON SHALL FILE tariff revisions within five business days of the release date of this Order to reflect this suspension. 5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4( i) and 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S.
