 MEMORANDUM  OPINION  AND  ORDER 
 Adopted:  December  4,  2000  Released:  December  5,  2000 
 By  the  Chief,  Consumer  Protection  and  Competition  Division,  Cable  Services  Bureau: 
 1.  On  October  27,  2000,  Young  Broadcasting  of  Lansing,  Inc.  (“  Young”),  licensee  of  Station 
 WLNS-  TV  (CBS,  Ch.  6),  Lansing,  Michigan,  filed  a  complaint  against  MediaOne  of  Eastern  Michigan, 
 Inc.  (“  MediaOne”),  operator  of  a  cable  system  serving  Livingston  County,  Michigan.  On  November  2, 
 2000,  Young  filed  a  motion  to  withdraw  the  complaint  because  MediaOne  has  reinstated  carriage  of 
 WLNS-  TV  on  its  system. 


 2.  Accordingly,  IT  IS  ORDERED  that  the  complaint  of  Young  Broadcasting  of  Lansing, 
 Inc.  IS  DISMISSED. 


 3.  This  action  is  taken  pursuant  to  authority  delegated  by  Section  0.321  of  the  Commission’s 
 rules.  1
