This matter comes before the Commission as a Joint Motion of Sprint Communications Corporation and Qwest Corporation to Dismiss With Prejudice (Joint Motion). The above- captioned complaint addresses the defendant’s practice of improperly assessing carrier common line charges for interstate calls involving certain optional calling services. 2. We are satisfied that granting this motion to dismiss with prejudice will serve the public interest by promoting the private resolution of disputes and by eliminating the need for further litigation and the expenditure of further time and resources of the parties and of this Commission. 3.
