On February 14,2000 the Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies filed Transmittal No. 1252 to revise Tariff F.C.C. No.l 1, Access Service, Expanded Interconnection (EIC). Transmittal No. 1252, currently scheduled to become effective on February 29,2000, proposes to enhance Bell Atlantic's existing IntelliLight Broadband Transport (IBT) service to provide cross connect options to give collocators the ability to interconnect via an optical SONET interface at the OC3. OC3c, OC12, and OC12c levels. No petitions have been filed against this transmittal. 2. Transmittal No. 1252 raises the same issues regarding rate levels, rate structures, and terms and conditions of virtual collocation services as those that are subject to the investigation of Bell Atlantic's Tariff F.C.C. No. 11 expanded interconnection service offering. 1 Therefore. Transmirtal No. 1252 is suspended for one day and will be subject to the investigation initiated in the investigation of NYNEX Telephone Companies' New Virtual Expanded Interconnection Offerings.2 Any rates proposed in this transmittal will be subject to an accounting order to facilitate any refunds that may later prove necessary. 1 Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies Tariff F.C.C. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to Section 204(a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 204(a), and the authority delegated pursuant to Sections 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.91,0.291, the revisions to Bell Atlantic's Tariff F.C.C. No. 11, filed under Transmittal No. 1252, ARE SUSPENDED for one day from the effective date and an investigation of the referenced transmittal is instituted and incorporated within CC Docket No. 98-240. 4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that BELL ATLANTIC SHALL FILE tariff revisions within five business days of the release date of this Order to reflect this suspension. 5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4(i) and 204(a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended 47 U.S.C. §§ 154(i) and 204(a), BELL ATLANTIC shall keep accurate account of all amounts received by reason of the rates that are subject of this investigation.
