 COMMENTS  SOUGHT  ON  COST  ALLOCATION  MANUAL  REVISIONS 
 BY  VERIZON  EAST  OPERATING  COMPANIES 
 AND  VERIZON  WEST  OPERATING  COMPANIES 


 On  April  30,  2001,  Verizon  Communications  East  Operating  Companies  (Verizon  East) 
 and  Verizon  Communications  West  Operating  Companies  (Verizon  West)  filed  revisions  to  their 
 cost  allocation  manuals  (CAMs),  in  accordance  with  Section  64.903  of  the  Commission’s  rules. 
 The  revisions  primarily  reflect  additions  and  elimination  of  certain  nonregulated  services. 


 Parties  may  file  comments  on  these  CAM  revisions  no  later  than  June  5,  2001.  Replies 
 should  be  filed  by  June  20,  2001.  Comments  on  Verizon  East’s  CAM  revisions  should  reference 
 ASD  01-  26.  Comments  on  Verizon  West’s  CAM  revisions  should  reference  ASD  01-  27.  A  copy 
 of  each  pleading  should  be  sent  to  Kim  Yee,  FCC  Common  Carrier  Bureau,  445  12  th  Street,  SW,
