On May 9, 2001, Verizon Telephone Companies (“ Verizon”) filed Transmittal No. 36. Transmittal No. 36 revises Tariff F. C. C. 14 1 to establish rates for cross- connects to LAN Extension Service. 2. That portion of Transmittal No. 36 which pertains to collocation raises the same issues regarding rate levels, rate structures, and terms and conditions of collocation services as those that are currently subject to investigation in GTE Telephone Operating Companies (GTOC), reissued as Verizon Telephone Companies Facilities for Interstate Access Service, expanded interconnection service offering. Therefore, those portions of Transmittal No. 36 which pertain to collocation are suspended for one day and will be subject to the ongoing investigations. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to Section 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. § 204( a), and the authority delegated pursuant to Section 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s Rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.091, 0.291, the revisions to Verizon’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 1 Verizon Tariff F. C. C. No. 14 was previously GTE Telephone Operating Companies (GTOC) Tariff F. C. C. No. 1. This tariff was reissued as Verizon Tariff F. C. C. No. 14 on April 17, 2001, under Transmittal No. 25. 1 Federal Communications Commission 2 14, pertaining to collocation, filed under Transmittal No. 36, ARE SUSPENDED for one day from the effective date and an investigation of the referenced transmittal is instituted and incorporated within CC Docket Nos. 96- 234 and 94- 97. 4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that VERIZON SHALL FILE tariff revisions within five business days of the release date of this Order to reflect this suspension. Verizon should cite the “DA” number of this Order as their authority to make this tariff filing. 5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4( I) and 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S.
