Verizon Telephone Companies (“ Verizon”) filed Transmittal No. 44 on May 31, 2001, that revises Tariff F. C. C. No. 11 1 to provide for a 4- fiber Office Channel Termination and a 4- fiber Virtual Office Channel Termination for connection of IntelliLight Broadband Transport to an Expanded Interconnection arrangement. Verizon filed Transmittal No. 45 on June 1, 2001, that revises Tariff F. C. C. 1 2 to remove expired Fresh Look material and introduce Microwave Collocation. Verizon filed Transmittal No. 46 on June 1, 2001, that revises Tariff F. C. C. Nos. 14 3 and 16 4 to introduce Competitive Alternate 1 Verizon Tariff F. C. C. No. 11 was previously Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies Tariff F. C. C. No. 11. This tariff was reissued as Verizon Tariff F. C. C. No. 11 on April 13, 2001 under Verizon Transmittal No. 24. 2 Verizon Tariff F. C. C. No. 1 was previously Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies Tariff F. C. C. No. 1. This tariff was reissued as Verizon Tariff F. C. C. No. 1 on April 13, 2001 under Verizon Transmittal No. 23. 1 Federal Communications Commission DA 01- 1417 2 Transport Terminal (CATT) Service in the jurisdictions of California, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. 5 These revisions are scheduled to be effective on June 15, 2001, for Transmittal No. 44, and on June 16, 2001 for Transmittal Nos. 45 and 46. 2. These transmittals raise the same issues regarding rate levels, rate structures, and terms and conditions of collocation services as those that are currently subject to investigation in Bell Atlantic Operating Companies collocated interconnection service, Bell Atlantic Operating Companies collocated interconnection service with SONET services, GTE Telephone Operating Companies (GTOC) expanded interconnection service offering, and GTE System Telephone Companies GSTC) expanded interconnection service offering. Therefore, Transmittal Nos. 44, 45, and 46 are suspended for one day and will be subject to the ongoing investigations. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to Section 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. § 204( a), and the authority delegated pursuant to Section 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s Rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.091, 0.291, the revisions to Verizon’s Tariff F. C. C. Nos. 1, 11, 14 and 16, pertaining to collocation, filed under Transmittal Nos. 44, 45, and 46, ARE SUSPENDED for one day from the effective date and investigations of the referenced transmittals ARE INSTITUTED and incorporated within CC Docket Nos. 96- 165, 96- 234, 94- 97, and 98- 240. 4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Verizon SHALL FILE tariff revisions within five business days of the release date of this Order to reflect this suspension. Verizon should cite the “DA” number of this Order as their authority to make this tariff filing. 5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4( I) and 204( a) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S.
