(ITA), the Personal Communications Industry Association, Inc. (PCIA), and MRFAC, Inc. (MRFAC) - - each of which was already certified as a frequency advisory committee (FAC) for the Industrial/ Business (I/ B) Pool of PLMR frequencies below 512 MHz, and each of which had requested certification for 800 MHz and 900 MHz bands - - were qualified to be FACs for 800 MHz and 900 MHz Business and Industrial/ Land Transportation (I/ LT) frequencies. 2 Consequently, UTC, ITA, PCIA, and MRFAC were certified to coordinate those PLMR frequencies. Other FACs currently certified to coordinate below 512 MHz I/ B frequencies were invited to perform the same function for frequencies in the 800 MHz and 900 MHz Business and I/ LT categories. 3 They were provided with forty- five days from the date the Order was released (April 18, 2002) to notify the Bureau of their intention to coordinate these frequencies. 4 The forty- five days has elapsed with only one other FAC indicating interest in coordinating the 800 MHz and 900 MHz PLMR frequencies. Specifically, by correspondence dated April 25, 2001, Forest Industries Telecommunications (FIT) has provided the required notification. 5 We hereby certify FIT to coordinate 800 MHz and 900 MHz Business and I/ LT channels. 1 In the Matter of United Telecom Council, Informal Request for Certification as a Frequency Coordinator in the PLMR 800 MHz and 900 MHz Bands, Order, DA 01- 944, ¶ 9 (WTB PSPWD 2001). 2 Id.,¶¶ 11, 18. 3 Id., ¶ 13. 4 Id., ¶ 18. 5 See Letter from Paul J.
