 1.  On  April  25,  2001,  we  extended  the  time  to  file  comments  and  reply  comments  in  the 
 Further  Notice  of  Proposed  Rulemaking  1  (“  FNPRM”)  in  the  above-  captioned  proceeding  to  June  11,  2001 
 and  July  26,  2001,  respectively.  2  On  July  11,  2001,  the  National  Cable  and  Telecommunications 
 Association  (“  NCTA”)  requested  a  three  week  extension  of  the  time  to  file  reply  comments.  We  find  that 
 it  is  in  the  interest  of  compiling  a  complete  record  to  further  amend  the  comment  period  to  enable  NCTA 
 and  other  parties  sufficient  time  to  analyze  and  respond  to  the  comments  and  studies  filed  thus  far  in  this 
 proceeding. 


 2.  Accordingly,  reply  comments  responsive  to  the  Further  Notice  are  now  due  on  or  before 
 August  16,  2001.
