On May 10, 1999, the Bureau released an order granting, in part, open video system complaints filed by Media General Cable of Fairfax, Inc. and Media General Cable of Fredericksburg, Inc. (“ Media General”) against Starpower Communications, LLC (“ Starpower”). 1 On June 9, 1999, Starpower filed a petition for partial reconsideration of the Bureau’s order. 2. On August 2, 2001, Media General informed the Bureau that the cable operator is no longer interested in pursuing its complaints against Starpower, due to the fact that Media General sold the cable systems in question. 2 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the May 10, 1999 order in this matter IS VACATED, as the initiating parties no longer have an interest in the subject matter of their complaints. 1 Media General Cable of Fairfax County, Inc. v.
