C. 20554 DA 01- 2180 September 19, 2001 WIRELESS TELECOM ACTION ILLINOIS (REGION 13) NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES (800 MHz) MEETING (PR DOCKET NO. 91- 228) The Illinois (Region 13) National Public Safety Planning Advisory Committee announces that a planning meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2001, at 10: 00 a. m. at the Illinois State Police Communications Services Bureau Administrative Office conference room, 531 Sangamon Avenue, Springfield, Illinois. This planning meeting is open to the public. The purpose of the meeting is to review pending 800 MHz applications, as well as other issues. In accordance with the Public Safety National Plan, each region is responsible for planning its use of public safety radio frequency spectrum in the 821- 824/ 866- 869 MHz bands. 1 The Region 13 (Illinois) 800 MHz National Public Safety Planning Advisory Commiittee is responsible for planning public safety radio frequency spectrum usage in Illinois, except for the Southern Lake Michigan counties, which include Winnebago, McHenry, Cook, Kane, Kendall, Grundy, Boone, Lake, DuPage, DeKalb, Will and Kankakee. 2 The Committee solicits active participation by representatives of eligible entities. However, anyone interested in public safety communications is welcome to attend this meeting.
