 By  the  Chief,  Consumer  Protection  and  Competition  Division,  Cable  Services  Bureau: 
 1.  On  September  13,  1996,  TCI  Cablevision  of  Contra  Costa  County  (“  TCI-  C”)  filed  with 
 the  Commission  a  Petition  for  Clarification  (“  Petition”)  of  Memorandum  Opinion  and  Order,  DA  96- 
 1238  (“  Order”)  issued  by  the  Cable  Services  Bureau  on  August  14,  1996. 


 2.  In  a  Motion  to  Withdraw  Petition  for  Clarification  filed  November  30,  2001,  TCI-  C 
 requests  that  the  Petition  be  withdrawn  without  benefit  of  substantive  review. 


 3.  Accordingly,  IT  IS  ORDERED  that  the  Motion  to  Withdraw  Petition  for  Clarification 
 filed  by  TCI  Cablevision  of  Contra  Costa  County  IS  GRANTED  and  the  Petition  for  Clarification  of  the 
 Order  issued  by  the  Cable  Service  Bureau  filed  on  September  13,  1996  IS  DISMISSED. 


 4.  This  action  is  taken  pursuant  to  authority  delegated  by  Section0.  321  of  the  Commission’s 
 rules.  47  C.  F.  R.  §  0.321.
