The Allocations Branch has before it for consideration a Petition for Reconsideration (“ Recon.”) of the Report and Order (“ R& O”), in this proceeding, 16 FCC Rcd 3637 (2001), filed by North Texas Radio Group, L. P. (“ NTRG”), licensee of Station KBOC, Bridgeport, Texas. 1 Thereafter, NTRG filed a Request for Dismissal of its Petition for Reconsideration. As requested, we shall dismiss the Petition for Reconsideration. 2. Background. The Commission issued a Notice of Proposed Rule Making in this proceeding in response to a petition filed by Graham Tollway Broadcasting Company (“ Graham Tollway”) requesting the allotment of Channel 253A at Graham, Texas. Graham Tollway withdrew its proposal for Graham in compliance with Section 1.420( j) of the Commission’s Rules. NTRG filed a counterproposal requesting the substitution of Channel 252C for Channel 252A at Bridgeport and modification of the license for Station KBOC accordingly. To accommodate the upgrade at Bridgeport , NTRG also request ed changes at Bonham, Palest ine, Price, Ranger and St ephenville, Texas, and Ardmore, Lawton, Tecumseh and Fort Towson, Oklahoma. Action in the Report and Order dismissed Graham Tollway’s petition for Graham, Texas, as requested, and denied the counterproposal filed by NTRG. 3. On December 3, 2001, North Texas Radio Group filed a Request for Dismissal of its Petition for Reconsideration.
