 EIGHT  LICENSES  TO  OPERATE  IN  THE  38.  6-  40.  0  GHZ  BAND 


 Auction  No.  30 
 On  May  8,  2000,  the  Commission’s  38.6-  40.0  GHz  (39  GHz)  band  auction  (Auction  No.  30) 
 concluded.  1  On  this  date,  we  grant  the  eight  39  GHz  licenses  that  are  listed  in  the  attachment.  We  grant 
 these  licenses  pursuant  to  Section  309(  a)  of  the  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as  amended,  2  and  Section 
 0.331  of  the  Commission’s  Rules  3  because  it  will  serve  the  public  interest,  convenience,  and  necessity.
