This Order dismisses the Requests for Review filed by Hawthorn School District 73 (Hawthorn), Vernon Hills, Illinois, seeking review of a decision issued by the Universal Service Administrative Company’s Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) on April 14, 2000. 1 The Commission received Hawthorn’s Request for Review on November 17, 2000 and December 4, 2000. 2 Under section 54.720 of the Commission’s rules, any such appeal must be filed within 30 days of the issuance of the decision as to which review is sought. 3 Documents are considered to be filed with the Commission or SLD only upon receipt. 4 Because Hawthorn failed to timely appeal the April 14, 2000 decision to either the Commission or SLD, the Requests for Review will be dismissed without further consideration. 1 See Letter from the Schools and Libraries Division, Universal Service Administrative Co., to Robert Hudson, Hawthorn School District 73, dated April 14, 2000. 2 Letter from Robert S.
