 Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau’s  Commercial  Wireless 
 Division  Accepts  the  Withdrawal  of  Five  Petitions  for  Reconsideration 


 The  following  licensees  have  filed  petitions  for  reconsideration  and/  or  clarification  of  the 
 Commission’s  Order  released  January  14,  2000:  1  Western  Wireless,  Inc.;  Nextel 
 Communications,  Inc.;  Davis  Electronics  Company;  Palmer  Communications,  Inc.,  d/  b/  a  Illowa 
 Communications  (ComElec);  and,  William  R.  Miller  d/  b/  a  Russ  Miller  Rentals. 


 The  January  14,  2000  Order  inadvertently  did  not  include  certain  applications  and 
 frequencies  pertaining  to  these  licensees.  On  February  14,  2001,  the  Commercial  Wireless 
 Division  (Division)  of  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  released  an  Erratum  to  the 
 Order.  2  The  Division  granted  certain  applications  pertaining  to  these  licensees,  as  listed  in 
 Attachment  A  of  the  Erratum,  for  800  MHz  Specialized  Mobile  Radio  (SMR)  licenses. 


 The  Division  has  reviewed  the  requests  for  withdrawal  and  finds  that  they  raise  no 
 substantial  or  material  questions  of  fact  under  Sections  309  and  405  of  the  Communications  Act, 
 as  amended.  47  U.  S.  C.  §§  309  and  405.  The  Division  hereby  approves  the  requests  for 
 withdrawal  and  dismisses  the  petitions  for  reconsideration  in  accordance  with  sections  0.331  and 
 1.106  of  the  Commission's  rules.  3
