 Telecommunications  Bureau: 


 1.  We  have  before  us  a  Petition  for  Reconsideration  (“  Petition”),  filed  by  Lancelot  Holding  Corp. 
 (“  Lancelot”)  on  February  17,  2000,  requesting  review  of  the  January  18,  2000  cancellation  of  the  above-referenced 
 SMR  license  (“  License”),  which  Lancelot  manages  on  behalf  of  the  licensee,  David  Schatzlein 
 (“  Schatzlein”).  For  the  reasons  discussed  herein,  we  grant  Lancelot’s  Petition  and  reinstate  the  License. 


 2.  The  License  was  cancelled  pursuant  to  a  Public  Notice  that  denied  various  requests  for  reinstatement 
 and/  or  other  relief  submitted  by  numerous  licensees,  including  Schatzlein.  1  In  its  Petition,  Lancelot 
 concedes  that  Schatzlein’s  submission  was  “misguided”  and  was  subject  to  being  interpreted  as  evidence 
 that  Schatzlein  had  not  constructed  his  license  timely.  2  Lancelot  contends,  however,  that  the  License  was 
 timely  constructed  and  should  be  reinstated. 


 3.  Review  of  Commission  records  reflects  that  the  License  was  granted  on  January  27,  1995,  received  a 
 twelve-  month  construction  period  and  was  constructed  on  January  6,  1996.  As  the  License  was  timely 
 constructed,  we  conclude  that  its  above-  referenced  cancellation  was  administrative  error.  We  therefore  will 
 grant  Lancelot’s  Petition  and  reinstate  the  License.

 4.  Accordingly,  IT  IS  ORDERED  that,  pursuant  to  Section  4(  i)  of  then  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as 
 amended,  47  U.  S.  C.  §  154(  i),  and  Section  1.106  of  the  Commission’s  Rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  1.106,  the 
 Petition  for  Reconsideration  filed  by  Lancelot  Holding  Corp.  on  February  17,  2000  is  hereby  GRANTED.
