(NECA) filed a Petition for Interim Waiver of Section 69.602 of the Commission Rules concerning annual election requirements for NECA’s Board of Directors. (See 47 C. F. R. § 69.602). Specifically, NECA requests a waiver of section 69.602( e) and (f), which require an annual election, and section 69.602( i), which requires that a director serve for a term of one year. (See 47 C. F. R. §§ 69. 602( e), (f), and (i)). NECA states that the waiver will relieve unnecessary administrative and financial burdens and requests that the Commission grant this waiver by May 15, 2001, as preparation for the October 2001 Board of Director’s election must begin following that date. Interested parties may file comments no later than April 23, 2001, with the Secretary, FCC, 445 12 th Street, SW, TW- A325, Washington, DC 20554. Replies to these comments should be filed no later than April 30, 2001. Comments should reference File No. ASD 01- 24.
