Accordingly, I grant Verizon’s request to modify the Performance Standard section of the OR- 1 and OR- 2 business rules as proposed. Sincerely, Carol E. Mattey Deputy Chief, Wireline Competition Bureau 1 Application of GTE Corp., Transferor, and Bell Atlantic Corp., Transferee, For Consent to Transfer Control of Domestic and International Sections 214 and 310 Authorizations and Applications to Transfer Control of a Submarine Cable Landing License, CC Docket 98- 184, Memorandum Opinion and Order, 15 FCC Rcd 14032 (2000) (Bell Atlantic/ GTE Merger Order). 2 Letter from Dee May, Executive Director, Federal Regulatory, Verizon, to Carol Mattey, Deputy Chief, Common Carrier Bureau, CC Docket No. 98- 184 (filed April 30, 2002) (Verizon April 30 Ex Parte Letter). 3 See Bell Atlantic/ GTE Merger Order, 15 FCC Rcd 14032 at App. D, Attach.
