C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418- 0500 Internet: http:// www. fcc. gov TTY: 1- 888- 835- 5322 DA 02- 1088 May 13, 2002 700 MHz Guard Band Managers’ First Annual Report is Due October 1, 2002 By this Public Notice, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (“ Bureau”) announces that the first annual report from the 700 MHz Guard Band Managers is due October 1, 2002. 1 In the annual report, Guard Band Managers should supply the Commission with the following basic information for each license held: 2 1. The call sign and market area; 2. The total number of spectrum users; 3. The number of spectrum users that are affiliates of the Guard Band Manager; 4. The amount of spectrum being used by the Guard Band Manager’s affiliates in any part of the licensed service area and the amount of spectrum being used pursuant to agreements with unaffiliated third parties; 5. The general nature of its customers’ spectrum use; and 6. The length of the term of each user agreement. The information provided to the Bureau should accurately convey the licensee’s state of operations as of August 1, 2002 (60 days prior to the filing deadline). In addition, to the extent that a Guard Band Manager does not have any agreements in place, it should describe its progress towards leasing the spectrum, including but not limited to when it expects to have agreements in place and when equipment will be available. The report must be filed no later than October 1, 2002. Prior to August 1, 2002, the Bureau will release another Public Notice providing specific information on how to file the report electronically and how the public can access the information.
