The meeting is open to the public. The Committee will receive and consider a report of its Disability Subcommittee, and will also entertain a report from its ad hoc working group on the Commission’s informal consumer complaint processes and outreach efforts. The Committee will also consider a report of its ad hoc working group on committee operations and structure, which will address primarily issues relating to the Committee’s rechartering. The Committee will make recommendations to the Federal Communications Commission as appropriate, and may also consider other matters within the mandate of its Charter. The FCC announced the establishment of the Committee on November 30, 2000. The Committee makes recommendations to the FCC regarding consumer and disability issues within the jurisdiction of the Commission and facilitates the participation of consumers (including people with disabilities and underserved populations) in proceedings before the Commission. The Committee is organized under, and operates in accordance with, the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U. S. C., App. 2 (1988). Minutes of meetings are available for public inspection at the FCC and are posted on the Commission's website at www. fcc. gov/ cgb/ cdtac. Meetings are broadcast on the Internet in Real Audio/ Real Video format with captioning at www. fcc. gov/ cgb/ cdtac.
