C. 20554 In the matter of Appropriate Regulatory Treatment for Broadband Access to the Internet Over Cable Facilities ) ) ) ) ) ) CS Docket No. 02- 52 ORDER Adopted: July 5, 2002 Released: July 9, 2002 By the Chief, Media Bureau: 1. At present, reply comments in the above- captioned proceeding are due on July 16, 2002. The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) has filed a Motion for Extension of Time requesting that the filing date for reply comments be extended for three weeks, to August 6, 2002. 2. It appears to us that there is good cause for the requested extension. The initial comments herein number approximately 100, some of which are voluminous. An extension of three weeks will enable NCTA and other commenters more time to respond fully to the initial comments, which should in turn produce a better record upon which the Commission may rely in reaching a decision on the merits. 3. ACCORDINGLY, the Motion for Extension of Time filed by NCTA is GRANTED and the date for filing reply comments herein is extended to August 6, 2002. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION W.
