 MEDIA  BUREAU  ANNOUNCES  AVAILABILITY  OF  TRANSCRIPT  OF  JUNE  24TH  EN  BANC  HEARING  ON  BROADCAST  AND  CABLE  EEO  RULES 


 On  June  24,  2002,  the  Federal  Communications  Commission  held  an  en  banc  hearing  to  discuss  issues  and  views  on  the  proceeding  to  promulgate  new  broadcast  and  cable  equal 
 employment  opportunity  (“  EEO”)  rules.  At  the  hearing,  the  Commission  heard  from  executives  and  managers  in  the  broadcasting  and  cable  sectors,  as  well  as  leaders  of  public  interest
