FOR CONSENT TO TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF LICENSES AND SUBSIDIARIES On July 23, 2002, Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (Hispanic Broadcasting) and Univision Communications, Inc. (Univision) filed applications seeking Commission consent to the transfer of control of Hispanic Broadcasting’s licenses and authorizations to Univision. On August 2, 2002, the Media Bureau issued a Broadcast Actions Public Notice (Broadcast Applications, Report No 25290) announcing that the applications had been accepted for filing and establishing a pleading cycle to permit interested parties an opportunity to comment on the proposed transaction. The petition- to- deny period for this application ends at close of business on September 3, 2002. 47 C. F. R. §73.3584( a). By this Public Notice, the Media Bureau announces that this proceeding has been docketed. The docket number is MB 02- 235. All parties filing pleadings or other documents in this proceeding must reference this docket number in their submissions and file them with the Secretary.
