The purposes of the meeting are to: 1. Approve minutes of the 1 st meeting, 2. Discuss and Approve the By- laws, 3. Seat Chairs for the Technical & Planning, Interoperability, and Implementation Sub-committees, 4. Review State of 700 MHz Planning Nationwide 5. Discuss Other Business, and 6. Schedule Next Meeting Date. The Region 40 (Northern Texas) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 40 would utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process.
