 Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  to  Conduct  Demonstrations  of  Electronic  Filing  of  FCC  Form  602 


 The  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  (Bureau)  will  conduct  demonstrations  involving  electronic  filing  of  FCC  Form  602,  FCC  Ownership  Disclosure  Information  for  the  Wireless 
 Telecommunications  Services  (Form  602  or  ownership  information).  Electronic  filing  of  Form  602  became  available  on  September  10,  2002.  1  The  Bureau  has  provided  a  3-  month  transition  period  (i.  e., 
 from  September  10,  2002  through  December  9,  2002)  until  mandatory  electronic  filing  takes  effect.  During  this  transition  period,  the  Bureau  would  like  to  demonstrate  the  various  aspects  of  electronic 
 filing. 
 Issues:  The  Bureau  will  provide  demonstrations  regarding  how  to  file  ownership  information  electronically  as  well  as  how  to  search  for  ownership  filings.  These 
 demonstrations  are  not  intended  to  provide  guidance  on  substantive  issues  relating  to  specific  information  that  should  or  should  not  be  provided  on  an 
 ownership  filing. 
 Dates:  There  will  be  two  initial  presentations:  1.  September  19,  2002  from  10:  00  AM  to  12:  00  PM 
 2.  September  26,  2002  from  2:  00  PM  to  4:  00  PM 
 Location:  Federal  Communications  Commission,  445  12  th  Street,  S.  W.,  Washington,  D.  C.,  20554.  The  specific  room  number  will  be  e-  mailed  once  registration  is 
 completed. 
 Registration:  Registration  for  the  September  19  th  session  must  be  received  by  COB  on  September  17  th  .  Registration  for  the  September  26  th  session  must  be  received  by 
 COB  on  September  24  th  .
