On June 18, 2001, Iowa Telecommunications Services, Inc. (Iowa Telecom) filed an application requesting that the Commission issue an order, pursuant to section 251( h)( 2) of the Communications Act, 47 U. S. C. § 251( h)( 2), deeming Lost Nation- Elwood Telephone Company (Lost Nation) to be the incumbent local exchange carrier in Oxford Junction, Iowa, and reclassifying Iowa Telecom as a competitive local exchange carrier. Iowa Telecom further requests that the Commission grant Iowa Telecom the same interconnection rights with Lost Nation in Oxford Junction provided in section 251( c) of the Act for other competitive local exchange carriers. 2. On September 13, 2002, Iowa Telecom filed a motion with the Commission requesting withdrawal without prejudice of its application due to changed circumstances. In this order we grant Iowa Telecom’s motion to withdraw its June 2001, application. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to sections 4( i) and 5( c) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, the motion to withdraw the application filed by Iowa Telecommunications Services, Inc. on September 13, 2002 IS GRANTED without prejudice. 4.
