In a September 30, 2002, order in this docket, the Pricing Policy Division (Division) of the Wireline Competition Bureau suspended for one day, imposed an accounting order, and set for investigation Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (Southwestern) Tariff F. C. C. No. 73, Transmittal No. 2913, Nevada Bell Telephone Company (Nevada) Tariff F. C. C. No., 1, Transmittal No. 22, Pacific Bell Telephone Company (Pacific) Tariff F. C. C. No. 1, Transmittal No. 82, Southern New England Telephone Company (SNET) Tariff F. C. C. No. 39, Transmittal No. 774, and certain rates of Ameritech Operating Companies (Ameritech) Tariff F. C. C. No. 2, Transmittal No. 1318. That order also suspended for five months and set for 1 Federal Communications Commission DA 02- 2898 2 investigation certain rates of Ameritech’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 2, Transmittal No. 1318. 1 The transmittals addressed in that order sought to establish rates for Universal Service Fund charges billed to residential and business customers to reflect the companies’ fourth quarter 2002 contribution obligations. 2. After release of the Suspension Order, Division staff met with SBC 2 to discuss the tariff filings at issue, and SBC provided additional explanation in support of its tariff filings that satisfies our concerns. Therefore, on our own motion, we reconsider our decision to suspend and investigate Southwestern’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 73, Transmittal No. 2913, Nevada’s Tariff F. C. C. No., 1, Transmittal No. 22, Pacific’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 1, Transmittal No. 82, and SNET’s Tariff F. C. C. No. 39, Transmittal No. 774, and we terminate the accounting orders and investigations of those tariff provisions. 3. ACCORDINGLY, pursuant to section 204 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. § 204, and sections 0.91, 0.291, and 1.108 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.91, 0.291, and 1.108, WE RECONSIDER, on our own motion, our decision in the Suspension Order to investigate the revisions filed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company Tariff F. C. C. No. 73, Transmittal No. 2913, Nevada Bell Telephone Company Tariff F. C. C. No., 1, Transmittal No. 22, Pacific Bell Telephone Company Tariff F. C. C. No. 1, Transmittal No. 82, and Southern New England Telephone Company Tariff F. C. C. No. 39, Transmittal No. 774, and Ameritech Operating Companies Tariff F. C. C. No. 2, Transmittal No. 1318. 4. IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to section 204 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. § 204, and sections 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C. F.
