On July 26, 2002, the Commission issued an Order temporarily staying the application of certain E911 Phase II deadlines set forth in section 20.18 (f) and (g) of the Commission’s rules 1 to two classes of non- nationwide Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) providers who had filed requests relating to those deadlines. 2 Appendix A of the Order to Stay listed covered all carriers covered by the stay. 2. Under the classification established by the Order to Stay, Quick Call Cellular is considered a Tier III carrier. Quick Call Cellular attempted to effectuate the filing of a Petition for Relief of the 20.18 deadlines on November 30, 2001, in accordance with Commission guidance. 3 Due to an administrative error, Quick Call Cellular inadvertently electronically filed the wrong document on that date. However, Quick Call did timely provide courtesy copies of its Petition for Relief to appropriate Commission staff, and has now corrected the error in its electronic filing. 4 For these reasons, we exercise our discretion to deem Quick Call Cellular’s Petition for Relief to be timely filed. Thus, Quick Call Cellular is entitled to the same relief granted to similarly situated carriers in the Order to Stay. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED THAT, under delegated authority pursuant to 1 47 C.
