 SERVICES  (PCS)  LICENSES  TO  ALASKA  NATIVE  WIRELESS,  L.  L.  C.

 On  March  4,  2002,  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  announced  that  it  was  prepared  to  grant  applications  for  fifteen  (15)  licenses  to  a  winning  bidder  in  the  C  and  F  Block  Broadband  Personal 
 Communications  Services  (PCS)  Auction  (Auction  No.  35),  provided  that  the  applicant  made  full  and  timely  payment  of  the  remaining  balance  of  its  winning  bid(  s).  1  The  final  payment  deadline  was  March 
 18,  2002.  2 
 The  Commission  received  full  and  timely  payment,  as  required  by  Section  1.2109(  a)  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  for  fifteen  (15)  licenses.  Accordingly,  by  this  Public  Notice,  we  announce  the  grant 
 of  the  fifteen  (15)  C  and  F  Block  Broadband  PCS  licenses  listed  in  Attachment  A.  We  grant  these  licenses  pursuant  to  Section  309(  a)  of  the  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as  amended,  47  U.  S.  C.  §  309(  a), 
 and  Section  0.331  of  the  Commission's  Rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  0.331,  because  it  will  serve  the  public  interest,  convenience  and  necessity. 


 This  Public  Notice  contains  the  following  Attachments:
