Docket No. 88- 476) Comment Date: May 13, 2002 Reply Date: May 31, 2002 On March 12, 2002, the Region 8 (New York Metropolitan area) 1 Public Safety Regional Planning Committee submitted a proposed amendment to its Public Safety Plan that would revise the current channel allotments to reflect changes made as a result of Region 8 Filing Window 6. The requested amendment proposes modification of the Region’s frequency allocation tables to provide new assignments (see Region 8’s proposed “WINDOW 6 CHANNEL ALLOCATIONS,” attached as Appendix 1) for the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut; the Connecticut State Police; Suffolk County, New York; the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police; the New York- New Jersey Port Authority; and the Township of Old Bridge, New Jersey. Region 8 has imposed operational limitations in order to add these proposed allotments.
