 WIRELESS  TELECOMMUNICATIONS  BUREAU  GRANTS  LOWER  700  MHZ  BAND  LICENSES 


 AUCTION  EVENT  NO.  44 
 Report  No.  AUC-  44  (Auction  No.  44) 
 On  both  December  9  and  17,  2002,  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  announced  that  it  was  prepared  to  grant  applications  for  certain  winning  bidders  in  the  Lower  700  MHz  band  C  and  D  block 


 Auction  (Auction  No.  44),  provided  that  each  applicant  made  full  and  timely  payment  of  the  remaining  balance  of  its  winning  bids.  1 


 The  Commission  received  full  and  timely  payment,  as  required  by  Section  1.2109(  a)  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  for  the  applications  listed  in  Attachment  A.  Accordingly,  by  this  Public  Notice,  we 
 announce  the  grant  of  the  Lower  700  MHz  Band  applications  listed  in  Attachment  A.  We  grant  these  applications  pursuant  to  Section  309(  a)  of  the  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as  amended,  47  U.  S.  C.  § 
 309(  a),  and  section  0.331  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  0.331,  because  it  will  serve  the  public  interest,  convenience  and  necessity. 


 This  Public  Notice  contains  the  following  Attachments: 
 €  Attachment  A:  List  of  Applications  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  is  Granting  –  sorted  by  applicant.
