C. 20554 DA 03- 1803 May 28, 2003 WIRELESS TELECOMUNICATIONS BUREAU ACTION REGION 40 (NORTHERN TEXAS) 700 MHz REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES FIFTH MEETING The Region 40 (Northern Texas) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee announces that its fifth meeting will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at 2: 00 p. m., at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport, Department of Public Safety Headquarters, 2900 E. 28 th Street, DFW Airport, Texas. The purposes of the meeting are to: 1. Approve minutes of the 4th meeting, 2. Review and discuss the Draft of the Regional Plan, 3. Discuss other business, and 4. Schedule next meeting date. The Region 40 (Northern Texas) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 40 would utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non-governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate and represent your agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of new public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band are encouraged to attend.
