 1.  On  August  27,  1999,  Western  Wireless  Corporation  (Western  Wireless)  filed  the  above-  captioned  petition.  1  In  its  petition,  Western  Wireless  sought  designation  as  an  eligible 
 telecommunications  carrier  on  the  Crow  Reservation  in  Montana  pursuant  to  section  214(  e)(  6)  of  the  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as  amended.  On  June  9,  2003,  Western  Wireless  submitted  a 
 request  to  withdraw  the  above-  captioned  petition.  2  We  grant  the  request  to  withdraw  and  dismiss  the  petition. 


 2.  ACCORDINGLY,  IT  IS  ORDERED,  pursuant  to  the  authority  delegated  under  sections  0.91  and  0.291  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §§  0.91,  0.291,  that  the  request  to 
 withdraw  the  above-  captioned  petition  for  designation  as  an  eligible  telecommunications  carrier  and  for  related  waivers  IS  GRANTED. 


 3.  IT  IS  FURTHER  ORDERED,  pursuant  to  sections  0.91  and  0.291  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §§  0.91,  0.291,  that  the  above-  captioned  petition  for  designation
