 ANNOUNCES  THIRD  MEETING 


 The  Region  40  (Northern  Texas)  700  MHz  Public  Safety  Regional  Planning  Committee  Convener  announces  that  the  third  meeting  of  Region  40  700  MHz  Public  Safety  Regional 
 Planning  Committee  will  be  held  on  February  24,  2003  at  1:  00  p.  m.,  at  the  North  Central  Texas  Council  of  Governments,  Centerpoint  Two  Building,  Transportation  Board  Room,  3rd  Floor,  616 
 Six  Flags  Drive,  Arlington,  Texas. 
 The  purposes  of  the  meeting  are  to: 
 1.  Approve  minutes  of  the  2  nd  meeting,  2.  Review  and  discuss  report  from  the  Implementation  Subcommittee, 
 3.  Review  and  discuss  report  from  the  Interoperability  Subcommittee,  4.  Review  and  discuss  report  from  the  Technology  &  Planning  Subcommittee 
 5.  Discuss  other  business,  and  6.  Schedule  next  meeting  date. 


 The  Region  40  (Northern  Texas)  700  MHz  Public  Safety  Planning  Committee  meeting  is  open  to  the  public.  All  eligible  public  safety  providers  whose  sole  purpose  or  principal  purpose  is  to 
 protect  the  safety  of  life,  health,  or  property  in  Region  40  would  utilize  these  frequencies.  It  is  essential  that  not  only  public  safety,  but  all  government,  Native  American  Tribal,  and  non-governmental 
 organizations  eligible  under  Section  90.523  of  the  Commission’s  Rules  be  represented  in  order  to  ensure  that  each  agency’s  future  spectrum  needs  are  considered  in  the 
 allocation  process.  Administrators  who  are  not  oriented  in  the  communications  field  should  delegate  someone  with  this  knowledge  to  attend,  participate  and  represent  your  agency’s  needs.
