No. 1 Transmittal No. 1 VERIZON’S WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW On January 23, 2003, Verizon filed a request for permission to withdraw an application for review filed by its predecessor, NYNEX, of the above- listed NYNEX Transmittal No. 206 proceeding. Based on its request to withdraw, Verizon’s application for review is dismissed without prejudice. 1 The NYNEX Transmittal No. 206 proceeding listed above is terminated. Verizon also filed on January 23, 2003 a request for permission to withdraw an application for review filed by its predecessor, Bell Atlantic, of the above- listed Teleport et al. Transmittal No. 1 proceeding. Based on its request to withdraw, Verizon’s application for review is dismissed without prejudice. 2 As Verizon notes in its request for permission to withdraw, the Commission’s subsequent decision permissively to detariff the telecommunications services of competitive local exchange carriers moots the issues in this proceeding.
