On February 28, 2002, Verizon, the successor to NYNEX, filed a letter with the Commission requesting permission to withdraw the Petition for Waiver. The Pricing Policy Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau has reviewed and hereby approves Verizon’s request to withdraw its Petition for Waiver. Accordingly, the proceeding captioned “The NYNEX Telephone Companies’ Petition for Waiver to Offer a Total Usage Discount Plan” is closed.
