 WIRELESS  TELECOMMUNICATIONS  BUREAU  GRANTS  UPPER  AND  LOWER  PAGING  BAND  LICENSES 


 AUCTION  EVENT  NO.  40 
 Report  No.  AUC-  40  (Auction  No.  40) 
 On  July  25,  2003,  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  announced  that  it  was  prepared  to  grant  the  application  for  the  licenses  listed  in  Attachment  A  to  the  winning  bidder  of  Upper  and  Lower 
 Paging  Band  Licenses  (Auction  40)  provided  that  the  applicant  made  final  payment  before  the  deadlines  established  by  the  Commission.  1  The  final  payment  deadline  was  August  8,  2003.  2 


 Final  payment  was  received  for  these  licenses  by  the  payment  deadline.  Accordingly,  by  this  Public  Notice  we  announce  the  grant  of  the  Upper  and  Lower  Paging  Band  Licenses  listed  in  Attachment 
 A.  We  grant  these  licenses  pursuant  to  Section  309(  a)  of  the  Communications  Act,  47  U.  S.  C.  §  309(  a),  and  section  0.331  of  the  Commission’s  rules,  47  C.  F.  R.  §  0.331,  because  it  will  service  the  public  interest, 
 convenience  and  necessity. 
 This  Public  Notice  contains  the  following  Attachments: 
 Attachment  A:  Application  the  Wireless  Telecommunications  Bureau  is  Granting. 
 Attachment  B:  Instructions  for  Searching  for  the  Application  Listed  in  Attachment  A  Using  ULS. 
 Attachment  C:  Instructions  for  Searching  for  Granted  Licenses  Listed  in  Attachment  A  Using  ULS. 
 Attachment  D:  Instructions  for  Accessing  the  FCC  Network  Using  Windows  95/  98.
