 INTERNATIONAL  BUREAU  REVISES  PROCEDURE  FOR  KA-  BAND  GSO-  LIKE  SATELLITE  APPLICATIONS

 On  August  12,  2003,  the  International  Bureau  (Bureau)  issued  a  public  notice  explaining  the  procedure  for  current  Ka-  band  licensees  seeking  orbit  location  reassignments.  1  In  that  Public  Notice,  the 
 Bureau  adopted  a  deadline  of  noon  (12:  00  PM)  on  August  26,  2003,  for  filing  Ka-  band  license  modification  applications.  2  To  ensure  that  neither  parties  filing  modifications  electronically  nor  parties 
 filing  by  paper  have  any  advantage,  we  extend  this  deadline  to  11:  59:  59  PM  on  August  26,  2003.
