C. 20554 DA 03- 3261 October 16, 2003 WIRELESS TELECOMUNICATIONS BUREAU ACTION REGION 30 (NEW YORK - ALBANY) 700 MHz REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES FIRST MEETING The Region 30 (New York - Albany) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee announces that its first meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, in the Auditorium of New York State Nurses’ Association, 11 Cornell Road, Latham, New York. Region 30 encompasses an area defined by the following 31 Counties of New York State: Albany, Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Clinton, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Green, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Tioga, Tompkins, Warren, and Washington. The Region 30 meeting will convene at 10: 00 a. m. The agenda for this meeting includes: 1. Establish a 700 MHz Regional Planning Committee (PFC), 2. Elect a Chairperson, 3. Create a RPC meeting schedule, 4. Review the RPC Committee Process, and 5. Review 700 MHz band development to date. The Region 30 (New York - Albany) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 30 would utilize these frequencies.
