On March 7, 2000, MCI WorldCom, Inc. (MCI) filed a petition for declaratory ruling 1 seeking rulings regarding the process for adoption of interconnection agreements pursuant to section 252( i) of the Communications Act, as amended, 2 and section 51.809 of the Commission’s rules. 3 On November 10, 2003, MCI filed a request to withdraw its petition for declaratory ruling, explaining that it raised many of the same issues in response to the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in CC Docket Nos. 01- 338, 96- 98, and 98- 147. 4 In this Order, we grant MCI’s request to withdraw and dismiss the petition. 2. ACCORDINGLY, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to the authority delegated under sections 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C. F. R. §§ 0.91, 0.291, that MCI’s request to withdraw the above- captioned petition IS GRANTED. 3.
