 INTERNATIONAL  BUREAU  HOSTS  DESIGN  SESSIONS  FOR  THE  NEW,  ENHANCED  FILING  SYSTEM,  MYIBFS 


 Members  of  the  public  are  invited  to  attend  a  series  of  sessions  to  be  hosted  by  the  International  Bureau  to  design  the  external  filing  portion  of  the  Bureau’s  new,  enhanced  filing  system,  MyIBFS.  MyIBFS,  which 
 will  ultimately  replace  the  existing  International  Bureau  Filing  System  (IBFS),  will  be  developed  in  phases  and  will  incorporate  features  and  functionality  recommended  by  internal  and  external  customers. 
 The  International  Bureau  launched  this  important  project  with  a  kickoff  meeting  held  on  November  21,  2003. 


 In  Phase  I,  the  Bureau  will  implement  a  new  IBFS  home  page  (with  improved  account  management)  as  well  as  a  new  312EZ  form,  for  filers  of  conventional  Ku-  and  C-  band  earth  station  applications.  This  new 
 form  will  feature  an  interactive  question  and  answer  format  with  edit  checks  and  on-  line  help  tools.  The  associated  Schedule  B  will  include  validation  checks  consistent  with  the  Commission  rules.  Phase  I  is 
 expected  to  be  completed  in  April  2004. 
 The  Phase  I  design  sessions,  including  topics  to  be  discussed  and  their  respective  dates,  times,  and  room  numbers,  are  identified  below.  All  sessions  will  be  held  at  the  FCC’s  headquarters  facility,  Portals  II, 
 located  at  445  12  th  St.,  SW,  Washington,  DC  20554.  Two  separate  sessions  dealing  with  each  topic  have  been  scheduled  to  help  ensure  that  interested  parties  can  attend.
