 THIS  NOTICE  IS  SPECIFICALLY  INTENDED  FOR  FILERS  OF  HAND-  PREPARED 
 PAPER  FORM  159’s  ASSOCIATED  WITH  ELECTRONICALLY-  FILED  INTERNATIONAL  BUREAU  LICENSE  OR  AUTHORIZATION  APPLICATIONS 


 The  International  Bureau  (IB)  recommends  that  application  filers  electronically-  generate  the  Remittance  Advice  Form  159,  associated  with  all  electronically-  filed  IBFS  applications  from 
 within  the  IBFS  application  to  ensure  timely  processing.  However,  we  understand  that  in  some  instances  it  is  not  possible  to  do  so.  When  filers  must  send  their  application  fee 
 payments  via  check  to  Mellon  Bank  along  with  a  paper  Form  159  to  pay  for  electronically-filed  applications,  we  urge  payers  of  IB  application  fees  to  insert  the  IB  Submission  ID 
 number  (generated  by  IBFS)  into  Box  29(  A)  of  the  Remittance  Advice  Form  159,  FCC  Code  2.  This  will  enable  us  to  quickly  and  correctly  match  your  payments  with  your 
 electronically-  filed  applications.
