The public is encouraged to attend in order to obtain information on the new searches and WTB’s approach to the integration of the two systems. WTB will conduct a public forum in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, March 12, 2003, 10: 30 A. M.- 12: 30 P. The forum will take place in Room B516 (South Conference Room) on the Sixth Floor of the Portals II building, 445 Twelfth Street, S. W. In order to ensure that adequate meeting space is provided for this event, WTB is requesting that interested parties pre- register by March 10, 2003. New MDS/ ITFS Database and License Searches WTB has undertaken a multi phased approach to the integration of BLS into ULS. The first phase includes the confirmation of the accuracy and completeness of all information contained in BLS. To this effect, the public was requested to review and verify their licensing information and technical data via the BLS Inventory, and submit corrections to the FCC. 1 Concurrent with this, a transitional ULS database for MDS/ ITFS License data has been created to house MDS/ ITFS license data in a format that is compatible with ULS. The public is being granted access to this data through the new searches. A subsequent PN will be released giving details of the launch date and the URL for the new searches. 1 Electronic filing for sites licensed in the Multipoint Distribution Service (MDS) and the Instructional Television Fixed Service (ITFS) remains suspended until further notice. 2 All application filings for MDS and ITFS must be submitted to the Commission in paper format for these services. The Commission will post a Public Notice when electronic filing is available to the public for these services.
