DOCKET NO. 91- 228) AND REGION 13 700 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETING The Region 13 (Illinois, except for Southern Lake Michigan 1 ) 800 MHz NPSPAC Planning Committee and the Region 13 (Illinois, except for Southern Lake Michigan) 700 MHz Planning Committee announce that consecutive meetings will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at Macoupin County Emergency Services, U. S. Post Office Building, 129 East First South, Carlinville, Illinois. The meeting of the Region 13 800 MHz NPSPAC Planning Committee meeting will convene at 10: 00 a. m. The purposes of the meeting are to review any pending 800 MHz applications and to address any outstanding issues. The Region 13 700 MHz Planning Committee will convene its meeting immediately following the adjournment of the Region 13 800 MHz NPSPAC Planning Committee meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to develop the 700 MHz Plan. Both of the Region 13 Public Safety Planning Committee meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 13 whose sole or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non- governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process.
