 PETITION  TO  INITIATE  SWITCHED  ACCESS  FACILITIES  MANAGEMENT  SERVICE  WITHDRAWN 
 CCB/  CPD  No.  99-  21 
 On  March  24,  1999,  Bell  Atlantic  filed  a  Public  Interest  Showing  in  which  it  requested  authority  to  establish  four  new  rate  elements  to  initiate  Switched  Access  Facilities  Management 
 Service.  On  April  19,  2002,  Bell  Atlantic’s  successor  company,  Verizon,  filed  a  request  for  permission  to  withdraw  this  filing.  Based  on  the  request  to  withdraw,  Verizon’s  request  for 
 authority  to  provide  switched  access  facilities  management  service  is  dismissed  without  prejudice.  1  Accordingly,  proceeding  CCB/  CPD  No.  99-  21  is  terminated.
