On June 11, 1998 Century New Mexico Cable Corporation (“ Century”) filed with the Commission an Appeal of Local Rate Order and Petition for Revocation of Certification in response to the rate order adopted by the Town of Silver City, New Mexico (“ Town”), on May 12, 1998. Century also filed an Emergency Petition for Stay on May 29, 1998. 2. In a letter filed on March 10, 2003, Comcast Cablevision Corporation of California, a subsidiary of Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. (“ Comcast”) informed the Commission that subsequent to the submission of those pleadings, Comcast acquired the Silver City system and now requests that the appeal, the petition for revocation, and petition for stay filed by Century be dismissed. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Request to Dismiss the Appeal of Local Rate Order and Petition for Revocation of Certification filed by Comcast Cablevision Corporation of California, a subsidiary of Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. IS GRANTED, and the Appeal and Petition for Revocation filed by Century Communications Corporation on June 11, 1998 and the Emergency Petition for Stay ARE DISMISSED. 4.
